Authentic Valais chalet from 1956, in the heart of the larch trees — 5 bedrooms, up to 8 people
Nestled in the heights of La Sage, Chalet La Marmotte opens the doors of a solid wood building with intact charm: façade adorned with hand-painted frescoes and a collection of family coats of arms, ornate wooden balconies on three levels, entrance door carved in the typical style of the Hérens Valley.
Inside, the chalet spirit is everywhere: warm wood panelling, exposed beam ceiling, antique furniture and characterful pieces (carved sideboard, paintings, stone fireplace). The lounge-library, with its stained glass windows bearing coats of arms and its huge raw wood table, invites long evenings with family or friends, with board games available.
The kitchen, fully equipped (oven, hob, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle), opens onto a friendly dining area with bench seating and a view of the larches.
On the night side, the chalet has 5 bedrooms for a total of 10 people:

Room with 1 single bed (90 x 190)
Room with 1 double bed (160 x 200) and 1 bed (140)

2 bathrooms: one with a bathtub and toilet, the other with a shower and toilet.
Outside, a large gently sloping garden, bordered by century-old larches, offers peace and clear views over the peaks – perfect for a morning coffee or an aperitif at sunset.
